Salon Etiquette

 

We ask that you please arrive on time for your appointments. If you are running late, a call to advise would be appreciated. Your treatment time may need to be shortened or rescheduled to avoid inconvenience to other clients.

To completely relax in your time with us, we kindly ask that you do not bring guests into your appointment, and your mobile phone is either turned off or switched to silent.

Cancellation Policy

Booking an appointment with Amber + Arlo secures that date and time for your convenience and preparedness. We understand that sometimes things change, so to ensure clients don't miss out and the appointment time isn't wasted, we require a minimum of 24 hours notice for all appointment cancellations or changes. We send appointment reminders via text message 4 days prior to your appointment date to assist you in avoiding any cancellation fees and to help you give us as much notice as possible for changes. Failure to provide us with more than 24 hours notice for an appointment change will result in a cancellation fee of 50% of your appointment cost. Failure to show up to your booked appointment with no advice or notice will result in a cancellation fee of 100% of your appointment cost.

Gift Certificates

Our Gift Certificates do not expire, however Amber and Arlo is not responsible for lost or stolen vouchers, and is not responsible for replacing a voucher that has been lost or stolen. They are non-refundable, non-transferable to a third party, and cannot be exchanged or redeemable for cash under any circumstances. They are not valid with any other offer and / or special at Amber and Arlo.

Our Gift Certificates may be used on any service or product. They must be presented at time of treatment to be valid – we are unable to honour lost or stolen vouchers. Gift Certificates can be purchased in the salon or via phone and emailed to you. Clients who do not show up for their appointment or cancel within 24 hours will be subject to our Cancellation Policy as stated above.

Products

All of our retail products are provided by independent suppliers. We make suggestions and recommendations to you for products that are most suitable to your skin type and needs, as described by you. Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds for change of mind.
